SAFRAIL™ industrial fiberglass handrail systems are designed for stair rails, platform and walkway handrails, and guardrails. Manufactured from Strongwell pultruded fiberglass components with molded thermoplastic connectors, SAFRAIL™ systems are particularly well-suited for corrosive environments, including industrial, chemical and wastewater treatment facilities, as well as commercial structures exposed to urban and salt-air corrosion.

SAFRAIL™ fiberglass ladders and ladder cage systems provide a durable, low-maintenance solution for tanks, buildings, and other industrial applications. Fiberglass ladder systems are particularly well-suited for chemical plants, wastewater facilities, and other corrosive environments where traditional metal systems may require greater maintenance.
Materials & Construction
SAFRAIL™ ladder and cage systems are manufactured using a premium-grade polyester resin system with flame-retardant and UV-inhibitor additives. A vinyl ester resin system is also available for applications requiring additional corrosion resistance. Standard side rails and cages are OSHA safety yellow, while ladder rungs feature a fluted, non-skid fiberglass surface.

SAFRAIL™ systems are fabricated from pultruded fiberglass components produced by Strongwell and molded thermoplastic connectors. The railing systems are particularly well-suited to corrosive environments like those found in industrial, chemical and wastewater treatment plants as well as commercial structures with urban and salt air corrosion.

SAFRAIL™ fiberglass ladders and ladder cages mounted on the sides of tanks and buildings are a common sight in a wide range of industries. Fiberglass ladder and ladder cage systems have been in use since the 1950’s in chemical plants and other corrosive environments. Even in complete immersion applications, fiberglass has outlasted aluminum and steel and required little or no maintenance.
